The Urban Dictionary describes ‘Hardparking’ as:

The act of owning a Japanese car riddled with roll cages/high-end race suspension/expensive forged wheels, and never taking it to the track. These people frequent places like honda-tech.com appearance/cosmetic forum, and can often be found arguing about rotas and other parts that they don’t do shit with anyway. E.g. “Ayo, look mang, he got the 36 way adjustable coilovers, he’s mad hardparking dawg.”
In New Zealand it’s taken on a slightly different direction. HardPark has slotted it’s way into car events calendar as an entry level car show. One that is open to all vehicles regardless of the level or style of modifications they have, even the origin of the vehicle. New to the calendar is HardPark Palmy. This year the event was held in conjunction with the first round of D1NZ at Manfield Motorsport park. You got to geez at some cool rides, then see the best of the best NZ drifters rip up the track. Was a good way to spend the avo avoiding any boring bits
After dealing with some torrential rain for the first few hours of the day, it fined up around lunch and the cars started to roll in. Palmy certainly has its own flavour, we will call it ‘grass level street style’. Within a few hours the carpark was full. There were some very interesting rides that rolled in. A Dodge Viper, a smart car, an impala, an old soarer, a bagged Merc and a caged Rx-7, just to give you a taste of the spread of rides that came along for the day. Anyway enough talk we will let you enjoy the snaps…
We will have the B-Sides up soon 😀
