About Us:

We specialise in creating automotive media, from the angle of, ‘for car guys, by car guys.’
We take photos, develop videos, write articles and help market products and services that we trust and believe in.
This is all done though our highly talented team of photographers, videographers and journalists. We work together to bring you content from New Zealand and abroad. We are a bunch of vehicular fanatics that have lived and breathed the automotive scene for a massive chunk of our lives. It was time to put our combined skill sets, and networks together to pursue something that we love. Because life is to short to be doing things that don’t put a massive smile on your face.

What we actually do in a nutshell:

Videography – We can shoot and edit amazing videos to the brief that you require, with a quick turnaround time.

Arial Videography/Photography – We have two drones and a skilled operator, and extensive public liability insurance.

Photography – We have photographers to cater for any photography need (from shooting high fashion to products).

Marketing – We can help you market your product or service within the greater automotive industry.

WordPress based websites – We can build you a website, so you can have a presence in the online world.

Where is Speedmagnet based:

Core operations of the company are based in Wellington, New Zealand and we have contributors throughout our beautiful country. We also have contributors we can call upon when needed based in Japan, America and Australia.

“We live and breath cars, they are an integral part of our lives whether it is your daily driver or the race car you look forward to piloting in the weekends, a car is more than just rubber, wires, metal, glass, fabric and plastic… They are our way of life.”
